THIS WEEK MARKS the culmination of AP Psychology, AP U.S. Government, and AP U.S. History lessons.
All AP students took their placement exams and now anxiously await their results; usually published during the first week of July.
All their hard work this year: projects, Cornell Notes and reading — so much reading — came down to a single test in an attempt to earn college credits. In previous years, the

Social Studies department has significantly outperformed the national average.
For example, in both AP Psychology and AP Government, our students earned a 3 (out of 5) or higher on the exam 85% of the time — compared to the 50% national average.
Our students tend do excel on the written response section, in particular, because we teach them the skills required to deconstruct often complicated questions. Fingers crossed.
