Girls Tennis | Jags Draw First Blood and Enjoy .500 d8096396-199b-4064-ba2e-f8757b600642

JAGS’ GIRLS TENNIS toddled to Waterford Kettering on Wed., March 28 and drew first blood — securing their inaugural victory of the spring season.
The ladies jumped to an early lead with an easy 6-0, 6-0 victory, lead by the team’s senior anchor, Tatum Partrich. Juniors Jordyn Bertman, Natalie Shamie and Lauren Levitt followed suit, winning singles flights, 2-4.
Doubles teams, including: Stephanie Snover and Madeline Gun; Molly Erlich and Hannah Stryk, and; Lauren Schostak and Lizzie Goldman finished off the Kettering Captains with three straight victories.
The win improves the Jag’s record to 1-1. A match the following day against Waterford Mott was postponed due to rain.

“APRIL SHOWERS BRING May Flowers” is the hackneyed maxim, but the Athletics Department says April showers bring lots of cancellations.
The directors and coaches beseech thee … be patient as the department works through this expected, but no less frustrating aspect of Michigan’s spring sports season.
The coaches ask students and parents verify accepting an invitation sent by email to join Team Snap, the Athletic Department’s communication tool. This ensures all cancellations and scheduling changes reach you BEFORE you get to the field, court or links.
