Innovative Changes Will Transform FJA Education

FJA to Add STEM Program, Digital Laboratories, and Expanded Jewish Studies Courses

I am thrilled to announce a number of new and exciting educational initiatives that will transform Frankel Jewish Academy teaching and learning.  Funded by a generous grant from the William Davidson Foundation, we will provide our students with an educational experience that will fully immerse students and foster in them valuable 21st century skills.

We are set to implement a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) program and construct a fully equipped digital fabrication laboratory. Combined, these will enable students to obtain an integrated, cross-curricular learning experience that is creative, entrepreneurial, and project based.

Jewish Studies will also benefit as we introduce and expand courses, make curricular changes, and design a holistic program aimed at engaging and inspiring students. Students will explore our heritage, history, and values giving them the opportunity to embrace a Jewish identity that is personally meaningful to them.

We have been and continue to be an institution that is committed to providing our students with the skills to excel personally, academically, and professionally.   These enhancements will ensure that FJA students continue to be leaders and innovators at a time when technical literacy, creativity, resolve, and collaboration are essential characteristics for success.

In the next several months we will continue to share details and updates as we move forward with this project.
